Jeroen is a passionate test professional with about 19 years of experience in testing, test management and executing, coordinating, coaching and advising roles. Besides presenting several times on the Dutch TestNet conferences and SeeTest 2017. Also he made his contributions to a anniversary book of TestNet “Set your course: Future and trends in testing” (translated from Dutch) and the book “How to reduce cost of software testing”.

In a world of changes and agility the need for faster testing grows. The demand for adjusting your tests at the moment of deliverance is rising. Exploratory testing is an approach to deal with these demands. In this workshop you will learn the basics of exploratory testing from session based testing to free format exploratory testing. As each organization is different; using this approach might have different challenges.

During the course, you will understand the basic concepts of Exploratory testing. You will also the differences between a few forms of Exploratory testing what the benefits are. After this course, you should have understanding how to perform Exploratory testing and which variants might be suitable your organization.
This workshop is meant for those who are familiar with testing and want to extend their knowledge on several test approaches. Basic knowledge of test techniques will help to perform the exercises.
Level 1 – Introductory and overview material. Assumes little expertise with topic and covers topic concepts, functions, features, and benefits.
